Basically, she’s a completely normal woman. And in this way, she’s breaking the royal world. Generally speaking, her style is, chic, classic and casual. In fact, a perfect wardrobe.
Thereupon, Meghan Markle currently has one of the best wardrobes in the world. But she’s always had great taste, even before she was a royal.
So, without further ado. Krown Kouture breaks down her style and wardrobe for you.
Public Style
To start with, Meghan has been a patron in various events. Interestingly, at an event in London, she even styled some women for job interviews. Moreover, she wears relatively inexpensive clothes. A word of caution, relative to royal standards!
Recently in Auckland, she wore a pair of J. Crew jeans, a simple scoop neck t-shirt. Including a blazer with a pair of Wellington boots. Business on top, serious sportsman on the bottom!
Furthermore, she wore a Victoria Beckham dress for the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey. This was significant because it was the first after her marriage. She has vogue while attending international events as well. Like, for an International Women’s Day event in London, she wore Reiss.
Not to forget that she loves florals. She even wore a floral brocade dress for a Palace reception. And it was the Prince of Wales reception at the Buckingham Palace. Additionally, her hats and accessories are stylish too.
Suits Style
As a matter of fact, Meghan acted in a hit TV show, Suits. Wherein she played the role of extremely stylish paralegal Rachel Zane. Over the years, Meghan has really influenced Rachel’s on-screen style. And the two are very similar.
Her looks were made of skirts, shirts and designer dresses. Form-fitting dresses with flattering cuts to chic color palettes and sky-high court shoes. They were worth envying! Classic and comfortable mixed with tailored and trendy. Meghan frequently rocked business professional attires. Although, after becoming a royal, she couldn’t act. However, the character would stay in her hearts and wardrobe forever.
Pregnant Style
For instance, let’s do a style recap of Meghan Markle’s Pregnancy. During her first trimester, there were some seriously stylish moments. Most notable was that Meghan and Harry undertook an extensive Tour of Australia and New Zealand. So, every day was a stylish day.
During the second trimester, we saw Meghan really come into her pregnancy style. She chose form-fitting and bump flattering pieces. Moreover, we think this time showcased how comfortable and happy she was.
As many women who have been through a pregnancy can attest, the third trimester has many elements that make it difficult. Although Meghan apparently didn’t get that memo. During the time, we saw Meghan step out confidently. The most compelling evidence being her smiles.
Breaking the Mold
To begin with her race, marital status and citizenship all go against royal tradition. However, she outshines as a royal. Especially, her walk down the aisle. The image of her gliding down solo was breathtaking. However, the subtle choice made a bold feminist statement. This says so much about her strength of character and independence.
Furthermore, she took the step in bringing a new generation of a royalty. That seeks independence. The vision is to expand the philanthropic and humanitarian roles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex under their own name. The plan is to open an independent office in Buckingham Palace but free from its controls.
Moreover, she has included brightly-colored shoes in her attires. And this is not normally seen on the royals. She wore some very fun but non-royal shoes. Nevertheless, the cow-hide and Lucite heels were incredible.
That’s Meghan Markle for us. Chic, Casual and Classic!
